KARAT is a micro-channel cooled horizontal array using untreated regular water. Nominal output power is 1,000W when operated at 90A. The robust design also enables "CW switched" or hard pulse mode. The typical bar off line deviation is less than 50 microns; this high accuracy is needed in certain high power solid state laser applications. Diode has proven reliability and compliant with demanding military specifications.
