PELICAN-D 640, 15µm

InSb MWIR 640x512, 15µm, digital

Description Typical Performance Applications Configurations Downloads

PELICAN-D is a 640 x 512 elements, 15µm pitch, InSb 2D MWIR DIGITAL IDCA. The FPA has a new all-digital ROIC, based on the 0.18 μm CMOS Process. The new ROIC is compatible with the “Sebastian” family of digital detectors: Sebastian 320 x 256, Sebastian 480 x 384, Sebastian 640 x 512 and Hercules (1280x1024).

Pelican-D is available in the same configurations as the standard Pelican, with a large variety of cold shield apertures and cooler types.

The proximity board provides the FPA timing, and the sensitive power supplies. In addition, the system – IDCA interface is a Camera link interface. Hence, the detector integration into the system is highly simplified.
