Requirements

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will leverage his experience in FPGA development and will take part in developing high end video systems:

• Be a part of a team of FPGA and Embedded SW designers to achieve project goals.
• Responsible for the architecture, development, test and integration of FPGAs for imaging and video systems.
• Work closely with software, hardware, system teams, providing documentation, debug support, analytical and technical expertise
• Perform logic synthesis, timing analysis and timing closure.

Key Qualifications:

• BSc in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
• 3+ years of experience in FPGA implementation and design (synthesis, P&R, timing closure) and Lab debug
• Team player

Additional Requirements:

• Experience with VHDL and System Verilog
• Able to write scripts in Matlab, Python or other scripting languages
• Specific design experience with implementing complex image and video processing algorithms in fix-point

• Be in part of a team defining future Image Sensor Digital controller Architecture
• Lead Digital design effort for state-of-the-art IR Image Sensors, working closely with the Analog designers and Board designers (internal and external interfaces)
• Take part in ASIC development lifecycle (pre- and post-silicon) – from Spec definition to block-level design, full-Chip till Silicon Validation in the laboratory and customer support
• Provide technical expertise and Interface with engineers from multiple disciplines (Electronics, Package, and System engineers) for Internal and External customers
• You will give guidance and mentoring to staff members & an example of VLSI design and development innovation and excellence.

Semi Conductor Devices (SCD), a leading worldwide supplier of high-end Infrared Detectors and thermal video cores is looking for Senior FPGA Design Engineer. The successful candidate will leverage his experience in FPGA development, digital signal design and architecture definition to perform the following tasks:

Participate as a member of a team of FPGA and Embedded SW designers to achieve project goals.

• Perform analysis to support derivation of specification based on customer requirements.
• Develop RTL utilizing a hardware description language (e.g. VHDL, Verilog, and/or System Verilog) and debug the design via simulation tools
• Perform synthesis and place and route
• Develop verification plans and approaches to support development
• Participate in integration and debug of the final product
• Support technical reviews and be able to present to internal and external customers

Basic Qualifications:

• A Bachelors degree: Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
• 5+ years FPGA design required.
